Find out what makes our rice unique.

Sowing

Sowing takes place in May, when temperatures begin to become milder.
The basins fill with water, coming from the branches of the Po, creating a
spectacular view where the sky is reflected in the water.
The rice seeds are deposited on the ground, where they begin their growth.

Growth

The growth of the plants continues throughout the summer season, where the rice field is constantly monitored and fed with fresh water.

Harvesting

The harvest usually takes place in September, using a combine harvester prepared specifically to enter the rice paddy basins.
What you get is the rice grain with its husk, which is called paddy.

Drying

The freshly harvested paddy rice arrives at our dryer. The drying process occurs slowly, at low temperature, to preserve the integrity and characteristics of the grain.

Aging

the rice is then stored in our warehouses, where it undergoes a slow maturation, which helps to improve its cooking resistance.

Processing

After an initial cleaning phase, the paddy rice is stripped of its protective husks. From this moment on, we begin to talk about rice.

Packaging

The selected rice then reaches the packaging stage. This stage ends with the manual closing of the packages, ensuring a final quality control before sale.
